Within the United States, a country known for its cultural diversity and multilingual population, Arabic has found a significant presence. With 1.4 million Arabic speakers residing in the US, the language holds the distinction of being the seventh most common non-English language spoken in the country. This prevalence highlights the importance and relevance of learning Arabic in a multicultural society, offering individuals the opportunity to engage with a vibrant community and immerse themselves in the language's rich linguistic and cultural tapestry.
With its deep-rooted history and cultural significance, presents a compelling case for language learners. As a language spoken by over 170 million people worldwide, Urdu holds a notable position as one of the most widely spoken languages globally.
In the United States, Urdu has gained recognition as a language of importance, with a growing community of speakers contributing to its presence. With its intricate script and poetic tradition, learning Urdu offers individuals a gateway to a rich literary heritage and a profound cultural legacy.
By delving into the study of Urdu, learners can not only enhance their linguistic skills but also gain insights into a diverse range of art forms, literature, and cultural practices. Moreover, with Urdu serving as a means of communication for a significant population, mastering the language opens up avenues for cross-cultural exchange and deeper connections with Urdu-speaking communities worldwide.
California is home to one of the largest Arabic and Urdu-speaking populations on the West Coast, communities rich in history, culture, and heritage. However, access to structured language education for these languages — especially within the public school system — remains extremely limited.
FASEEHA Language and Arts was created to bridge this gap.
Our mission is to empower the next generation to maintain and strengthen their cultural and linguistic ties through high-quality language and arts education.
We are proud to be WASC accredited and are actively working toward UC accreditation to further enhance the academic value of our programs.
Through FASEEHA, students don't just learn a language — they build a lasting connection to their roots.
Currently, FASEEHA offers Arabic Language Classes for students in Grades 7-12.
Students are placed based on language proficiency, not by school grade level, ensuring they learn at the right pace.
